The Ambrose Dome, which opened in August 2005, is a state-of-the-art, 67,000-square-foot, 75-foot-high, multi-tiered dome. Purchased by St. Ambrose University in the spring of 2011, the Ambrose Dome is heavily utilized by the SAU Athletic Department.

This sports complex located at 5003 Brady Street in Davenport, less than three miles from campus, gives the St. Ambrose golf teams a year-round practice facility.

Along with serving as an enclosed driving range facility, an indoor synthetic putting green was installed in the Ambrose Dome in the winter of 2012-13, helping the SAU golf teams practice anytime.

Serving as the primary home course for both the St. Ambrose men's and women's golf teams, the 6500-yard course is considered the premier public access golf course in the metropolitan Quad-City area.

The 18-hole course includes a large grass tee for full-swing practice; a short-game practice area for shots inside 60 yards, including bunker shots; a practice green; and a golf shop.

Emeis Golf Course, located just miles from campus in Davenport, Iowa, is home to the Quad Cities Amateur.
