CCAC Men's Cross Country Awards

CHICAGO --- Olivet Nazarene University headlined the list of 45 Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference All-Academic selections in the sport of men's cross country, which was announced on Tuesday morning. The Tigers produced 16 such individuals on the list, which included representatives from 10 schools.

Conference champion St. Francis (Ill.) was next in line with six honorees followed by Calumet St. Joseph (five) and Judson (four). Robert Morris Illinois, St. Ambrose and Trinity International were each represented by three student-athletes, while Purdue Calumet and Saint Xavier collected two spots each. Trinity Christian rounded out the list with one representative.

The three Bees on the list were senior Ty Balduf, junior Grant Colborn and senior Ben Coyer.

Ten members of the squad gained the honor for the second time, while eight were selected for the third time.  

To be nominated for the award, a student-athlete must have been enrolled at his respective CCAC school for a minimum of one academic year, have completed at least 30 semester hours and boast no less than a 3.25 cumulative grade point average.
