CHICAGO --- The Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference announced Purdue Northwest's Chris Rassel (St. John, Ind.) and St. Ambrose's Shaquille Jones (London, England) as its final weekly men's soccer award winners for 2016 on Tuesday. Jones was named the CCAC Offensive Player of the Week, while Rassel garnered top defensive accolades.

Jones, a junior forward, scored the game-winning goal 4:38 into the second overtime to push St. Ambrose past defending tournament champion Roosevelt, 2-1, in opening-round action of the CCAC Tournament last Friday. It was his seventh goal of the season.

St. Ambrose went 1-1 on the week and is 9-9-1 for the season.
