CHICAGO --- St. Ambrose University gained a sweep of the final Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference women's soccer weekly awards for 2016, the league office announced Tuesday afternoon. Jess Mlachnik (Muskego, Wis.) was named the CCAC Offensive Player of the Week with Kayla Anderson (Naperville, Ill.) earning CCAC Defensive Player of the Week honors for the second week in a row.

Mlachnik, a senior midfielder, tallied a pair of first-half goals, including the eventual game-winner, in a 5-1 CCAC quarterfinal-round victory over St. Francis on Saturday night. She opened the scoring seven minutes into the contest and produced the deciding goal two minutes after St. Francis knotted the contest at one.

The goals were the fourth and fifth of the season for Mlachnik. She also has three assists on the year.

Anderson, meanwhile, produced on both the defensive and offensive end for the Bees for the second week in a row. On defense, she led a unit that held St. Francis to the one goal and eight shots on goal. Offensively, she added to her team-leading numbers with her tenth and 11th goals of the season, not to mention collecting an assist in the victory.

Anderson, a senior, has led a defense that has allowed just 0.89 goals per match this year.

St. Ambrose is 14-3-2 on the season.
