Women's Cross Country - Sat, Nov. 19, 2016

St. Ambrose junior Karyn Paisley represented the women's cross country team well on Saturday at the NAIA XC National Championships in Elsah, IL.

Paisley raced to a 234th place finish out of nearly 350 runners, finishing in 19:47, improving on her time from last year's nationals by 14 seconds.

She joins a group of 11 Bee women who have raced twice at the national championships. Just four Bees have run at nationals three times, a feat Paisley will be gunning for in her senior year.

"It was very gratifying to see Karyn compete the way she did," SAU head coach Dan Zeimet said. "She's had a lot of ups and downs in her running career but put together a very good season and deserved the chance to race the best the NAIA has to offer."
