Muscatine high school senior Christin Swank has signed a letter of intent to join the St. Ambrose bowling program in 2017.

SAU head bowling coach Eric Littig stated, "Christin has established herself as a major player on the Midwest scholarship tournament scene this season, and she's been a high school star throughout her career in Muscatine."

St. Ambrose women's coach Craig Crawford added, "Christin will be a welcome addition to our women's program; she brings a lot of experience, and she's an extremely tough competitor."

Swank recently won the January Greater Iowa Scholarship Bowling Tour event in Davenport, Iowa, and she's qualified for five match play finals this season. The right-hander also won her high school sectional; her team will compete at the Iowa State High School Championship Tournament this coming week in Des Moines.

Swank will join a women's team that has won two major tournaments this season, and is currently ranked No. 9 in the nation.
