Anthony Peters repeated as the NAIA National Champion in the 3000-meter race walk and he was one of five Bees to be crowned an all-American in the event at the 2017 NAIA Indoor Track & Field Championships in Johnson City, Tenn., Friday.

Peters, who won indoor and outdoor National Titles a year ago, finished in a time of 11:49.72, just off the NAIA Indoor Meet record of 11:46.20 set in 2015.

Teammate Emilio Mancha took silver in 13:09.22, setting a PR by nearly a minute, to also earn All-American honors. He was ranked sixth entering the race.

SAU's dominance in the event continued on the women's side as Jenny Lopez, Katharine Newhoff and Cassandra Delgado each finished in the top eight to garner All-American accolades.
