CHICAGO --- A complete-game victory on the mound by St. Ambrose University's Jake Sheley (Rockford, Ill.) and three multi-hit games off the bat of Roosevelt's Jonah Meidl-Zahorodny (Wauwatosa, Wis.) have earned the pair Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Baseball Pitcher and Player of the Week honors, respectively, for the seven-day period ending March 26, the league office announced Tuesday morning.

Sheley, a senior, allowed just five hits and one run in his nine-inning 2-1 victory over conference foe Trinity Christian on Friday. He also struck out three batters and did not allow a walk in the effort.

St. Ambrose went 2-1 on the week and sits at 6-16 on the season.
