WICHITA, Kan. - Louis Mallillin of St. Ambrose University and Mackinley Morgan of the University of Saint Mary have earned the KCAC Men's Lacrosse Defensive and Offensive Player of the Week honors, respectively, the conference office announced Tuesday. The two student-athletes were selected for their performances from March 27-April 3 by a vote of conference sports information directors.

Mallillin came up with 65 saves over three games last week. He kept St. Ambrose in the game in the team's two losses, coming up with 15 saves in a 10-8 loss to Robert Morris and posting a school-record 27 saves in a 10-8 loss to Aquinas.

In the Aquinas game, he had 15 saves in the first half and finished with 27 to break his own previous school record for most saves in a game.

He ended the week by allowing just three goals and making 23 saves in an 8-3 win over Lindenwood-Belleville.

This season, Mallillin has made 186 total saves and has a .620 save percentage. He currently leads the NAIA in saves this season, is second in the country in both saves per game and save percentage.
