CHICAGO --- A pair of wins from Olivet Nazarene University's Nick Campe (Manteno, Ill.) and a .636 batting average by St. Ambrose University's Greg Wymer (New Lenox, Ill.) have earned the pair Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Baseball Pitcher and Player of the Week honors, respectively, for the seven-day period ending April 23, it was announced by the league office Tuesday morning.

Wymer, a senior first basemen, hit everything in sight and far last week, going 14-for-22 with three doubles and four home runs leading to 15 runs driven in, or 2.5 RBI per game over his six contests. He also scored eight runs.

Three of Wymer's four home runs came in a split of a doubleheader with Olivet Nazarene last Tuesday, where he went 4-for-6 with seven runs batted in. Two days later, he hit No. 4 on the week as part of a 4-for-5, 4-RBI day in a 9-4 win over Calumet College of St. Joseph.

The four-hit game came during a stretch in which he posted multi-hit contests five times in a row to close out the week.

With its 5-1 week, St. Ambrose improved to 19-23 overall and 15-7 in league play.
