2017 all-CCAC Baseball Team

Kevin Zanger was named to the first team and Cooper Sant Amour was selected to the second team as the CCAC announced its all-conference baseball teams as part of the CCAC Tournament.

Zanger is batting .336 and is second on the team with 50 hits this season. The junior shortstop from Springfield, Ill., has seven doubles, 25 runs scored and 22 RBIs. He batted .341 in conference play.

Sant Amour is second in the conference and 19th nationally with seven saves. His 2.74 ERA is the sixth-best mark in the league and opponents are batting just .239 against him. The junior right-hander from Moline, Ill., has three wins this season.

Zanger and Sant Amour have helped the Bees to a current 12-game winning streak, including two wins in the CCAC Tournament. St. Ambrose will play Saint Xavier Monday at 10:30 a.m. 

The conference also announced five Bees were named to the all-academic team. Drew Amador, Nick Foster, Zach Hart, Adam Hutson and Greg Wymer were recognized for their work in the classroom.
