Three days after giving up a two-goal lead in the final 11 minutes, St. Ambrose posted its first shutout of the season in a 1-0 win at Trinity international Wednesday afternoon.

SAU, now unbeaten in its last three matches after starting the season with five losses, got its goal from Tom Greenwood in starting CCAC play with a victory.

Greenwood's goal came on a penalty kick in the 84th minute. Both of his goals this season have come via penalty kick.

The St. Ambrose defense made sure the lone goal held up. After allowing the Trojans four shots in the match's first 15 minutes, the Bees allowed just five shots the rest of the way.

Lewis Moston made a single save, that coming in the 15th minute, to get the win. SAU finished with 14 shots, six of those on goal.

The Bees will host Calumet St. Joseph Saturday at 5 p.m. at the St. Vincent Athletic Complex.
