Joao Victor Cordeiro scored two second-half goals 11 minutes apart to help St. Ambrose get past Judson 2-1 Tuesday afternoon at the St. Vincent Athletic Complex.

The win moves the Bees to 2-7-3 overall and evens their CCAC mark at 2-2-1.

SAU had to rally after allowing a goal in the 21st minute. Judson caught St. Ambrose off guard on a quick restart on a free kick to take a 1-0 lead midway through the first half.

Cordeiro, who didn't have a goal this season entering the match, scored the equalizer in the 63rd minute off a Sam Winterburn free kick.

Eleven minutes later, he gave the Bees the lead, scoring an unassisted goal in the 74th minute.

Lewis Moston saw just one shot the rest of the way, coming up with a save in the 85th minute. He finished with five saves to earn the win.

After getting outshot 7-1 in the opening half, SAU picked up its play and outshot the Eagles 9-3 over the final 45 minutes.

Saturday, the Bees will visit Cardinal Stritch for a 5 p.m. match in Milwaukee, Wis.
