The 6-3 German giant has had quite an impressive freshman season having started in all 19 games he featured in.

Having played for a club team called HSC Hannover and playing in the 2nd highest youth league in Germany competing with the youth teams of the professional Bundesliga teams, Boehling had no struggling fitting in with the quality players in his surroundings of SAU and other players within the CCAC conference having made all-conference second team. Boehling proved to be a great capture for SAU also having scored two vital goals during the season, later to be described during his most memorable moment thus far.

When asked to explain how he found his first semester at SAU, the soccer and the adjustment to life stateside Boehling had this to say. "I really enjoyed my first semester here at Ambrose, in fact it was even better than I have expected before. The people here were very welcoming which made it easier for me to adjust to the new surrounding and country that I found myself in. Especially the entire soccer program helped me a lot and it is an honor to be part of that."

When questioned about his best moments thus far at SAU, Boehling replied, "My most memorable moment this season was scoring my first goal for the team against Calumet College of St. Joseph as well as scoring the game winner in a vital match against University of St. Francis."

Having thoroughly enjoyed his first season, Boehling seemed keen to express his ambition going into the future.

"Although our season didn't go as good as we hoped it would, I am very pleased with how my first year went for me personally and I am confident that we are going to improve as a team next season."

Both coaching staff and players are looking forward to watching the career of Boehling progress as SAU has their eyes on this young talent.
