Spring All-Academic selections released by the CCAC
The Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference announced the spring sports All-Academic Teams earlier today. A total of 68 Bees were named to the All-Academic Teams this winter (9 baseball, 4 men's golf, 3 women's golf, 8 softball, 1 men's tennis, 6 women's tennis, 17 men's track and field, 13 women's track and field, and 7 men's volleyball). The St. Ambrose and St. Xavier women's golf teams led the CCAC in the number of All-Academic student-athletes with three student-athletes. Danny Molony, Kylee Claypool, and Ryleigh Warden held a perfect 4.0 cumulative GPA.

A nominated CCAC student-athlete is an individual that is a member of the varsity team, has maintained a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher and has earned at least 30 semester or 45 trimester hours of credit. The nominated student-athlete(s) must also be enrolled with the respective CCAC college/university for a minimum of one academic year.

A total of 15 Bees were named to the All-Academic Teams this winter (9 men's basketball and 6 women's basketball). The St. Ambrose and St. Francis men's basketball teams led the CCAC in the number of All-Academic student-athletes with nine student-athletes. On the women's side, Abby Wolter held a perfect 4.0 cumulative GPA.

A total of 78 Bees were named to the All-Academic Teams this fall (8 men's cross country, 7 women's cross country, 26 men's soccer, 26 women's soccer, 11 women's volleyball). St. Ambrose led the CCAC in the number of All-Academic student-athletes in men's cross country, men's soccer, women's soccer, and women's volleyball. Nine student-athletes held a perfect 4.0 cumulative GPA.
