SAU Dance Team looking for third National Title in four years
The SAU Dance Team will look to regain its spot at the top of the NAIA when the 2026 Nfinity NAIA Competitive Dance National Championship gets underway Friday.
The 12-team, two-day event will take place at the Stormont Vail Events Center in Topeka, Kan.
Preliminary rounds are scheduled to start Friday at 7 p.m. and finals will start Saturday at 2:30 p.m.
St. Ambrose leads all schools with four NAIA Competitive Dance Championships (2018, 2021, 2023, 2024). SAU has also recorded the two highest scores in championship history - a 93.40 in 2023 and a 92.49 in 2024.
The Bees narrowly missed out on a historic three-peat last year, taking second to Midland. SAU finished with an overall score of 92.08 to finish 0.16 points behind Midland (92.24).
