Bees Overcome Slow Start to Improve to 6-0
In Lamoni, Iowa, on Tuesday night, SAU rallied from a 21-point deficit to earn an 80-71 win over Graceland (3-4). The win keeps the Fighting Bees undefeated at 6-0.
Justin Tiner led the charge, picking up 29 points and nine rebounds. Mike Kennedy's 14-point, 11-rebound double-double and Bren Gillepsie's 12 points off the bench also elevated the Ambrose offense.
Graceland's leading scorers were Tyler Raasch, who scored 29 points in the game, and Brad Burgus, Jake Smith, and C. Henderson-Wells, who each scored 12 points.
SAU will depart for a 10-day trip to Ireland on Thursday.
