Frazier recognized for joining SAU's 2,000-point club

Before Wednesday's game vs. Clarke, St. Ambrose recognized Nick Frazier, who became just the fifth Bee in school history to score 2,000 career points.

Head coach Ray Shovlain presented him with an award prior to tip off.

Frazier hit the milestone Sunday, Feb. 8, when he poured in 24 points against Ashford.

The senior guard from Bellwood, Ill., who entered Wednesday with 2,005 points, is fourth in school history in career points. He trails only Jeff Stowasser (2,486 points from 1991-95), Josh Miller (2,286 from 1996-00) and former teammate Mike Kennedy (2,266 from 2008-12).

Frazier scored 10 points in an 84-81 overtime win over Clarke, giving him 2,015 total points.

The Bees return to action Saturday afternoon at William Penn. Game time is 3 p.m.
