Theis named CCAC Men's Golfer of the Week
CHICAGO --- Shooting below par on back-to-back rounds during the seven-day period ending Sept. 7 has earned St. Ambrose University's Carsen Theis (Grimes, Iowa) Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Golfer of the Week honors, the league office announced on Wednesday morning.
Theis shot a six-under 138 at the Highland Championships last Monday to place fourth out of 112 golfers at the meet. The junior opened with a 67 in the morning before recording a 71 in the afternoon on the par-72 course.
Theis also helped the Fighting Bees to a second-place team finish out of 21 squads.
