Stoetzel repeats as CCAC Golfer of the Week
CHICAGO --- For the second week in a row, St. Ambrose University's Jacob Stoetzel (Mokena, Ill.) has been named the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Golfer of the Week, the league office announced on Wednesday morning.
Stoetzel placed in the top 10 at SAU's own NAIA National Preview last week, finishing tied for ninth overall among 105 total golfers. The junior opened the two-day event by shooting par (71) last Monday before scoring a 77 on Tuesday for a two-round total of 148.
As a team, St. Ambrose placed eighth among the 21 schools participating.
