SAU receives academic awards from USTFCCCA

USTFCCCA TF Academic Awards

St. Ambrose was named an All-Academic Team by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). The women's program had a cumulative team GPA of 3.493 and the men's team had a GPA of 3.169.

In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, teams must have a cumulative GPA of at least a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period, among other qualifiers.

A total of 14 Bees were recognized by the USTFCCCA as All-Academic Athletes. Gabbi Butler, Kaitlyn Knoche, Annah Miller, Kate Surwillo and Ryleigh Warden represented the SAU women, while Jackson Baedke, Nathan Boleyn, Dylan Grandon, Hunter Kasap, Chris Miserendino, Will Reemtsma, Alec Seifert, Ben Wilson and Jonah Wilson earned the honor for the men's program.

To qualify as All-Academic Athletes, student-athletes must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 and have achieved an automatic or provisional qualifying mark for either the indoor or outdoor season.
