Fourteen different Bees had at least one kill as St. Ambrose wasted little time in defeating Lincoln College 25-12, 25-16, 25-17 in a non-conference battle Monday night inside Lee Lohman Arena.

Scott MacGillis and Myles Hudson led the way with five kills apiece and Colin Teresi added four. Avery Clark, Nick Fox, Dom Marshall and Tim Owens was each credited with three kills.

As a team, St. Ambrose finished with 35 kills and had just nine hitting errors, finishing with a .388 hitting percentage. Lincoln (2-13) had just 21 kills against 17 errors.

Hari Khaira (15) and Jake Snyder (13) combined for 28 of the Bees' 34 assists.

Jeramie Gutierrez had four aces while Jake Powers, Logan Havens and Dylan Herridge each had two.

Havens and Herridge each picked up a team-leading five digs. Clark and Snyder finished with two apiece.

St. Ambrose, now 6-6 overall, will head to Sylvania, Ohio, to take part in the two-day Gray Wolf Invitational beginning Friday. The Bees will face Siena Heights, No. 6 Lourdes, Robert Morris and St. Andrews.
