Six Bees named NWCA Men's Scholar All-Americans

The National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) announced six St. Ambrose wrestlers were named 2025 NAIA Men's Scholar All-Americans Friday.

The six Bees named to the exclusive list that recognizes excellence both on the mat and in the classroom are Jacob AlexanderTyler CaseyMick ChagnonDylan MeinersAnthony Sartori and Josh Zeman. The team ranked 15th on the NAIA Men's Scholar Team Top 20 list.

To qualify for NWCA Scholar All-American status, student-athletes must have met at least one of the following criteria:

  • Top 8 finishers in the NAIA individual national championship tournament, and 3.0 Cumulative GPA.
  • National qualifier as determined by the NAIA and a 3.25 Cumulative GPA.
  • Conference tournament participant and a 3.5 Cumulative GPA.
  • Wrestled in at least 15 competitions as listed in TrackWrestling.
