SAU topped Waldorf 32–22 on the road
The Bees earned a 32–22 road victory over Waldorf University on Thursday, January 15, in Forest City, Iowa. The Bees secured six wins in the dual, including two falls, one technical fall, and two forfeits, to pull away for the team win.
141 – Guiseppe Guerra
G. Guerra continued his dominant stretch with a 17–2 technical fall in 4:07 over Rev Baptista. He controlled the pace from the opening whistle, scoring consistently on his feet and on top to add five team points.
149 – Josh Zeman
Zeman followed with a strong outing at 149, earning a 15–8 decision over Noah Avila. His win kept momentum on the Bees' side through the middle of the lineup.
174 – Brody Schmidt
Schmidt delivered one of the turning points of the night, securing a fall at 4:44 over Daven Hames. The pin energized the Bees and further extended the lead.
197 – Jeremiah Morris
Morris sealed the dual with an emphatic fall in 2:16, overpowering Brandon Alexander and closing out SAU's scoring with six points.
Jean-Luc Guerra (165 pounds) and Colin O'Grady (184 pounds) each collected six team points via forfeit. AJ Trendle (125 pounds) also wrestled for the Bees.
The Bees are next in action as they return to Marshall, Mo., for the Missouri Valley Invitational on January 23rd and 24th.
