Wet field conditions and the potential for more rain Friday have forced changes to St. Ambrose's scheduled home baseball and softball games.

The SAU softball team's three-game series with Indiana South Bend will still begin with a single game Friday, but that contest will be played indoors at 3:30 p.m. in the Ambrose Dome.

Saturday's Softball Senior Day doubleheader is still expected to be played outside at the St. Vincent's Athletic Complex, but the games are being pushed back an hour to allow time for adequate field prep. The first pitch Saturday is now scheduled for 12 p.m.

For the Fighting Bee baseball team, Friday's single game against Culver-Stockton at Modern Woodmen Field has been canceled. That was the scheduled 1996 SAU World Series Team Reunion.

St. Ambrose and Culver-Stockton will play a doubleheader at Modern Woodmen Park Saturday beginning at 1 p.m.
