The Fighting Bees welcome Pennsylvania native McKenna Sears to the Women's Lacrosse program. McKenna played her high school lacrosse at Selinsgrove High School for Coach Deb KIngston, and also competes for the Hurricane Lacrosse Club coached by Eric Needle.
"McKenna is an outstanding athlete who can play anywhere on the field. She has outstanding speed and strong finishing ability. She is a strong leader and her work ethic will take her a long way," SAU head coach Frank Rogers said.
McKenna earned All-District honors and has played on her varsity program for four years, where she was a very well-balanced player, averaging 60 points a year.
McKenna is the daughter of Mike and Michelle Sears and has a brother, Logan (23). She also had an aunt and uncle who graduated from St. Ambrose. McKenna plans to major in Psychology at St Ambrose. McKenna said she chose SAU because it felt like the right place for her to be.
