Bio

Katie Baranski was named the Head Coach in March of 2023. She returned to the Fighting Bees after serving as an assistant coach at Augustana College. 

In back-to-back years, Baranski led her team to the Heart Tournament Championship game in 2023 and 2024. Baranski has coached a Heart Newcomer of the Year and numerous all-conference performers in her time as head coach.

Baranski is a 2021 graduate of St. Ambrose University with cum laude recognition plus majors in Graphic Design and Art History and minors in Marketing and Interactive Design.

As a student-athlete, Baranski was a stand-out performer for the Fighting Bees. She scored more than 100 career goals at SAU and was a member of the Bees' inaugural women's lacrosse team. She served as a team captain and was twice awarded all-conference and NAIA Scholar-Athlete honors.
