DeSplinter named CCAC Offensive Player of the Week
Taylor DeSplinter was named the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) Offensive Player of the Week the league announced on Tuesday.
DeSplinter had seven points on the week and helped SAU to a 3-3 draw against Olivet Nazarene. DeSplinter scored twice in the match - including the goal that forced the three-all tie - and added an assist.
In the win over Saint Xavier, DeSplinter netted the game-winner in the 78th minute for the Bees on their way to a 3-1 victory.
Her three goals on the week tied her for the conference lead with eight, and she has 18 total points.
