DeSplinter named Offensive Player of the Week
Taylor DeSplinter was named the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this season the league announced on Wednesday.
DeSplinter leads the conference in goals (19) and points (45). She helped St. Ambrose go 2-0 on the week, scoring the game-winner against RV Bellevue on October 29th in a 3-1 victory. DeSplinter also recorded an assist in the match. Against Governors State on October 26th, DeSplinter netted two goals in the 5-0 win.
Her 19 goals so far this year rank her 10th in the NAIA, and the 45 total points in good enough for 13th in the NAIA.
DeSplinter was previously named the CCAC Offensive Player of the Week on September 20th.
