CHICAGO --- St. Ambrose University's Annah Miller (Manito, Ill.) and Joshua Mottet (East Moline, Ill.) have been named the first Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Field Athletes of the Week for 2024, the league office announced Wednesday morning.

Miller won both of her events at SAU's own Bumble Rumble on Saturday to claim Women's Field Athlete of the Week distinction. The senior produced an 'A' mark with her shot put throw of 47 feet, 1 inch to defeat 15 other challengers. She also won the weight throw with her distance of 48 feet, 6.75 inches.

Mottet hit the 'A' standard and also broke a school record – it was his own – en route to the weekly men's honor. The sophomore registered a height of 15 feet, 7 inches in the pole vault event to place first among nine individuals at St. Ambrose's own Bumble Rumble on Saturday.

The mark currently ranks sixth-best in the NAIA this year.
