St. Ambrose competed in a pair of weekend last-chance qualifiers - the Augustana Penultimate Qualifier Friday and the St. Francis Fighting Last Chance Friday and Saturday.

The highlight was a pair of relays hitting NAIA qualifying standards at St. Francis.

The team of Ben Wilson, Jackson Baedke, Charles Huesmann and Dylan Grandon hit the A standard in the 4x400m relay. They placed second overall in 3:12.99, which is the 11th-best time in the NAIA. Tommy Ashby, Will Dowda, Chris Miserendino and Grandon were second in the 4x800m relay in 7:41.22 to hit the B standard. That is the 23rd-best time in the NAIA.

Before competing at the NAIA Outdoor Track & Field Championships, the Bees will have one final event, the Augustana Midwest Twilight Wednesday and Thursday.
