McCreary finds more success at the professional level
After his successful collegiate career, the 2024 graduate, Noah McCreary, found his way into the professional baseball world. McCreary plays for the Bakersfield Train Robbers which are official members of the Pecos League of Professional Baseball Clubs.
For the Train Robbers, the rookie has appeared in 13 games so far this season. McCreary garnished 23 hits of his 52 at bats in his professional career. His 52 at bats and 14 rbis are second best on the team, only two at bats and one rbi under the current team leader. McCreary also scored 17 runs, a team high, and blasted two for a home run. He sits atop the team in walks on the season at 7.
As a transfer student, McCreary had much success in his two years at St. Ambrose. In his two-year stint, McCreary totaled 87 runs scored, 131 hits, and 85 rbis. Of those 131 hits, 26 were doubles, 5 were triples, and 14 were home runs. His on base percentage averaged .423 while his slugging percentage averaged .544 over two years. In 2023 and 2024, the Davenport, Iowa native was named to the all-CCAC First Team as he helped his team finish second in the conference in 2024. McCreary earned CSC Academic All-District Team honors, CCAC All-Academic Team honors, and NAIA Daktronics Scholar-Athlete honors.
