St. Ambrose (22-13, 17-5 CCAC) then picked up 18 more hits in the second game.
After Indiana South Bend got on the board in the top of the first, SAU scored in each of the first five innings. The lead was 7-1 entering the fifth, when the Bees exploded for eight runs. The Titans scored five times over the final two frames to end the scoring.
Twelve different Bees had hits.
Heitzler led the way with three hits while Pauley, Flanagan, Milatovic and Peter Mitchell had two each.
Vorwald, Gonzalez, Rago, Michael Stupavsky, Aaron Vertuno, Luke Brabham and Noah Chase had the other hits.
Pauley, Flanagan, Vorwald, Mitchell, Hietzler and Chase each knocked in two runs.
Mouw scored three runs. Flanagan, Heitzler and Gonzalez scored two runs apiece.
