This past weekend saw men's and women's varsity bowling squads compete at the Kegel Classic in Addison, Illinois. One of the premier events each season, the men's field attracted 68 teams, while the women's field was comprised of 55 teams.

Freshman Jackson Satterlee put on an inspiring performance, and it led his men's JV team into the Leatherneck winner's circle. The Cedar Falls, Iowa, native averaged 231 for his five games, earning a spot on the Leatherneck Classic all-tournament team.

This weekend saw the St. Ambrose bowlers competing in the annual Midwest Collegiate Championships in Detroit, Mich. One of the longest-running Tier 1 events in the nation, this marked the first time the tournament was staged in Detroit, after a 55-year run in the Milwaukee suburb of Wauwatosa, Wis.
Varsity teams sweep Hammer Golden Eagle titles

The St. Ambrose bowling teams got the 2025-26 season off to a rousing start, as both the men and women emerged victorious. Competing in the Hammer Golden Eagle tournament in Rockford, Ill., both teams ran through the bracket virtually unscathed on their way to victory.
